Mo Kasperek announced today that she is offering a 6-week functional training program to anyone looking to get fit for Summer weather!  Since starting small group training at New Image Fitness 24/7, Mo’s program has been very succesful at helping people get the results they’re looking for!

The class is held twice a week at 5:30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays starting Monday, May 21st and it consists of a creative use of several functional training tools – including battling ropes, TRX Suspension Trainers, BOSU Balance Trainers, Kettlebells, and more!  It is open to members and non-members alike.

Team MoJo Blasts Off!

This week marked week 1 of a new 8 week functional training course being offered out of New Image by Team MoJo.  And judging by the comments left by the Team MoJo “recruits” they not only had a lot of fun but worked out extremely hard.  I saw comments like “Sore as hell but ready for more!” and “Sore!!!!!! But I love it!!”.

Congrats to Team MoJo for trying something new and knocking it out of the park!  For anyone who wasn’t able to make it into this sold out class, they are considering offering a second one if they receive enough interest.  Head on over to Team MoJo’s website and add your name to their mailing list if you are interested!  They would be glad to have you – after all, misery loves company!

Announcing New Hours!

Happy New Year Everyone!

Effective today, we are going to be staffed more hours to accommodate the increased usage at the gym during winter months.  We are adding Tuesday and Wednesday evening staffed hours.

Our new hours are as follows:
  • Monday – Thursday:  9am – 11am AND 5pm – 7pm
  • Friday: unstaffed
  • Saturday: 9am – 11am
  • Sunday: unstaffed

Please remember to bring a clean pair of sneakers to the gym during winter months.  Also, a reminder that everyone must swipe his or her keytag when entering the gym (even during staffed hours).  If you lost your keytag or your keytag no longer works, please stop by the front desk for a replacement during staffed hours.
